Psalm 139

LORD, you have probed me, you know me:
you know when I sit and stand;
you understand my thoughts from afar.
My travels and my rest you mark;
with all my ways you are familiar.
Even before a word is on my tongue,
LORD, you know it all.
Behind and before you encircle me
and rest your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is beyond me,
far too lofty for me to reach.

How true these words are Jesus, but how often do I take them for granted? How often do I try to hide my heart from You? Be ever present with me on my daily journey, be ever by my side. Give me courage and guidance so that I may clearly see the paths offered to me. Let me open my heart to You so that you may know my desires. Thank You for Your presence, for Your overwhelming LOVE. Thank You for this great gift of Life.
